The dynamic between them was odd; his dream was fresh in his mind, where she'd obviously played a strong role...while her own was faded by two years, and tempered by the experiences she'd had during that time.

"Well, now that you're here again, we'll hopefully get the chance to find out for ourselves."

She smiled up at him, her pleasure at seeing him clear in her eyes. It was still hard to believe he was back, and that she resonated so strongly with him.
