[The handwriting appearing across the page was a messy scrawl, one that you would perhaps see from a scientist, if said scientist was forced to take up calligraphy lessons because someone had gotten tired of trying to decipher his illegible scribbles. The lessons were perhaps not a success in the conventional sense as the handwriting was far from elegant, but at least people could now actually read what was being written.]

I must say that hatching out of a cocoon is not something I’ve ever experienced before, or at least, it’s not something I think I’ve ever experienced before~! I’m not sure if I would ever want to be born in such a way again. Once makes for an interesting experience, more than that makes for…

[Some ink splotches appeared on the page as the writer tapped the pen absent-mindedly while searching for the phrase he wanted.]

A bad habit! And one must be careful not to accumulate too many of them~

Heard everything from "It's better here" to "Nice to start over" to plain "I just like it here."

I suppose one would enjoy it here if one's memories and previous life weren't terribly wonderful... And it does provide a multitude of things to explore!

Like I said. It has its moments.

Such as...?

Random things like the ice cream truck 'n that mall thing that appeared a few months ago. 'n there's always the coffee shop too. The ice cream place's pretty great, too.

Yes, but those seem so... everyday and physical.

[ Rabbit simply shrugged, then returned to his coffee. He'd seen quite a bit in his year at the Sphere, most of which he simply observed and kept for his own records, though some he did share. Sometimes. For now, he'd simply enjoy his coffee. ]

[Perfectly comfortable with the silence, Crimson sat back to enjoy his coffee. Well, perhaps 'sat back' wouldn't exactly be the right phrase since he was doing his owl impression again, but at least he wasn't running around poking at things.]

[ rabbit looked at him curiously, wondering what might be going through Crimson's mind. Rabbit also was listening to the conversations around him once again, as people had shifted topics. Still none really seemed all that important, and most involved the costumes from earlier that month.

Suddenly a golden creature with large wings and a long tail flitted in and landed on Rabbit's head ]

There ya are, Tim.

[If Rabbit had been able to see into Crimson's mind, he would have quickly become quite dizzy from the speed of all the questions darting around in there. Course, when the creature named 'Tim' landed on Rabbit's head, it wasn't hard to guess where Crimson's attention was now focused on.]

What is Tim?

[ Rabbit reached up and patted the critter on the head/body/something. ]

Dunno what exactly Tim is but he belonged t' one'a my close friends who came who isn't here anymore. Kinda adopted the guy.

[Crimson leaned in to study the creature, a smile breaking across his face.]

He's adorable~!

[ Tim fluttered his wings a bit and stretched out his long tail, still perched on Rabbit's head. ]

He's got a thing for sammiches too, yeah

Do they sell sandwiches here?

Yeah, sure do.

[Making eye contact with a waitress and waving her over, Crimson turned back towards Rabbit and Tim.]

What kind of sandwich would you two like?

[ rabbit shrugged ] The two'a us'll eat pretty much anything, yeah.

But you must have a type you prefer~!

[ well he would pretty much eat anything but a suggestion wouldn't hurt. So he answered with the first thing which came to mind. ]

Ham and cheese ♥

Ham and cheese it is~♥!

[Turning back to the waitress and giving her a big smile to soothe away the annoyance of the wait, Crimson placed orders for a turkey sandwich and two ham and cheese sandwiches.]

Sounds great ♥

[ though to be truthful, food always sounded great, though tasting good was always a bonus. ]

[When their food arrived, he gestured for Rabbit and Tim to help themselves before picking up his own sandwich, remembered to break off part of it for Tim as well.]

[ Rabbit coaxed Tim off his head and down onto the table rather easily with a piece of the sandwich. Tim opened a mouth, revealing a row of rather jagged looking teeth that happily snatched the piece of sandwich from Rabbit and munched on it. ]

Guess he likes ham 'n cheese, yeah?

[ rabbit sure did and he took a piece of the sandwich and started consuming it before tim had a chance to eat it. Rabbit knew how voracious the gold critter was. ]

[Sandwich pausing half-way up to his mouth, Crimson blinked at Tim's sharp teeth before remembering his manners.]

Ahaha... It looks like he does!

[Good thing he had ordered two.]

Watch your sammich. He's got a bad habit'a stealin' people's food.

[ Rabbit simply offered Tim the other half of the sandwich and took the rest for himself. ]
