The new Wilderness was quite interesting... There were a lot of things to see and read, even if some of them were a little... odd. But the robot was fun to play with!

[Even if he did break it at first... But he managed to fix it and even brought back souvenirs.]

Lin-chan~ I have a gift for you~! And Bastet-san, I think you might be interested in seeing some of these.

[And busying himself with preparing the stir-fry, pulling the ingredients out from the refrigerator and carefully set about cutting and dicing.]

[ As planned, Lin arrived arrived early and knocked at the door, an annoyed expression already on her face. She didn't think he could have actually got something she would have liked, but maybe he would have really taught her how to cook something that Bastet enjoyed.

And even if they were probably going to be bickering all night and piss Bastet off, she couldn't let them be alone all that time, since she had the chance to come too. ]

_{[A few seconds after her knock, Crimson was opening the door with a smile, wearing an apron that proudly spelled out 'Kiss the Cook' in white letters.]}

Ah, Lin-ch-- Lin-san~! Welcome to my humble abode.

_{[One that he had done his best to clean up. Most of the usual clutter had been shoved into the spare bedroom, leaving only two bags of merchandise from the convention center on the sofa.]}

Come in and make yourself at home while I go get your gifts!

[ Lin felt really stupid for reading his apron and letting her eyes follow the arrow, and when someone made her feel stupid she'd want to beat the crap out of them, but then he called her Lin-san (finally!) and that made him earn a raincheck. She could always beat him later. ]

It stinks in here.

[ Well, he wasn't expecting a 'it's nice to see you', was he? But she did as he said, walking in and peeking into the bags in the sofa. ]

Does it? My apologies then, but hopefully the cooking will soon make it smell better.

[He knew it didn't stink. Letting his apartment become so would interfere with all the senses that he would need when carrying out experiments.]

[At first it just looks like a bag full of books, until she picks them up and flips through them and see scenes depicting her and Bastet together in... interesting poses. And oh look, there was one where he was in it too, though the words all seem to have been blanked out by the tree. Oh and let's not forget that.]

[ She raised an eyebrow when she it was books. Did she really look like the type who enjoy reading? He really was an idiot, after all.

Then she picked one up, it could have been recipes, that would have been useful--

And then she just. Stared. Her brain not quite able to process what she was seeing.

For two whole seconds, even. ]

What's this?!

[ And then she's dropping the booklet as if it's scorching hot. ]

I'm not entirely sure...

_{[The reply came from the kitchen, Crimson having carefully removed himself from within hitting distance of Lin after he gave her the bag of goodies.]}

I found them down in the new Wilderness. Quite eye-opening aren't they~?

[ Since he was in the kitchen... She took another peek, a hand over her mouth and her face crimson. Who the hell was so... So sick? And who the hell would buy-- ]

[ She let the book fall again to follow him in the kitchen. ]

Where did you get those? Were there others? We're going to burn all of them.

Down in the Wilderness, in that convention center place. I think it was called the 18+ section or something, though I wasn't quite sure what that meant...

[Well, he did. Kind of.]

I brought as much as I could up, but unfortunately, there are still more down there. You're quite welcome to bring some back with you. To guard and keep away from others, of course. The rest are for Bastet-san, I'm sure she'll be... interested in seeing them.

Listen closely. [ For once, it was Lin invading Crimson's personal space, instead of it being the other way around. ] Bastet won't see these.

[ Having to talk about it, on top of having had to see it, was making Lin's cheeks slowly turn... Crimson. But she pretended they weren't. ]

It's inappropriate and dishonourable and we'll get rid of then.
